What an agent is
An agent is a teammate you set up once. You give it a name, a job and instructions it follows every time, and pick its model. It keeps its own conversation, uses your connected apps, and remembers what it has done.
Things people give agents to do
- “Every weekday at 9, open Hacker News and tell me the top AI story with its points and comments”
- “Each Monday, go through my inbox and list what still needs an answer”
- “Check my calendar every evening and tell me what tomorrow needs”
- “Find the cheapest 6 ft USB-C cable on Amazon and show me before you buy”
- “Every Friday, sum up what the team shipped in Linear and GitHub”
- “Read the top posts in our Slack channels and draft a weekly update”
A computer of its own
Many jobs live on websites with no app connection. An agent can open a real browser on a cloud computer and work there: search, click through, fill in forms and read the result. You can watch its screen as it goes, take control at any moment, and give it back. When a site needs you to sign in, it hands the screen to you rather than asking for your password.
Routines on a schedule
Ask an agent to do something every morning, every weekday at 9 or every Friday, and it sets up a routine. Each run posts its result in the agent's thread. Routines look things up and report back; they don't send, post or change anything on their own unless you allow it.
Agents that work together
Put several agents in a room and they hand work to each other: one researches, another writes, a third reviews. Tag an agent to bring it in.
Safe by default
- Anything that cannot be undone, like an order or a sent message, stops for your approval.
- You can watch the computer, take it over or stop the agent at any time.
- Sign-ins stay with you: the agent hands you the screen and never asks for a password.
Questions
Which plans include agents?
Pro includes up to 10 agents and Max up to 25. Free and Plus do not include agents.
What can an agent do on its computer?
It opens websites in a real browser, clicks, types, scrolls and reads what is on the screen, so it can work on sites that have no app connection. You can watch it work, take control yourself, and hand back when you are done.
Will an agent buy things or send messages on its own?
No. Before it does something that cannot be undone, such as placing an order or sending a message, it stops and asks you. Scheduled routines look things up and report; they do not send, post or change anything unless you allow it from the agent's Routines panel.
What happens when a website needs me to sign in?
The agent hands the screen to you. You sign in yourself, then hand control back and it carries on. It never asks for your password.
